City Council and Sushi in Addison — Dallas Urbanists STLC
Dallas Urbanists STLC
Addison town council will be discussing whether or not to call an election to withdrawal from DART. Again.
While there is no vote on Tuesday, it is important that the council sees that Addison residents and the wider community are passionate about transit. Plus we're all going for sushi after :)
The plan for the evening is as follows:
Step 1: Show up at 4 PM for Council work session and give public comment on your support for DART and ask for continued efforts to negotiate a deal
Step 1a: Can't make it at 4 or don't feel comfortable speaking? That's okay, come when you can and wear a pro transit shirt and pin and/or bring a sign, we need overwhelming numbers to help Addison council realize pulling out of DART isn't what's popular.
Step 2: Get Sushi at Addison Sushi with everyone after the work session
Step 3: Profit
